Creative Basketry Workshop

Island Lake, IL

	Learn methods to find and foster your own style of basketry.
	Then experiment with materials, techniques, shapes and sizes as you
	explore your own style of basketry.
	Finally, allow your work to emerge, by learning how to regard the artist within.

	Students will use assorted media during class time. Samples and at least one basket will be
	finished by end of workshop. The goal of the workshop is exploration and process rather than
	specific results, success being determined more by suspending expectations than by
	completing projects. A willingness to play is essential.

An intermediate level of basketry experience is recommended.
